KC Symphony, Hillary Hahn review by Timothy McDonald
It’s merely a coincidence that the Kansas City Symphony’s season opener Friday night at the Lyric Theatre occurred on the same night that many local schools hosted their homecoming games. But coincidence or not, there are noteworthy similarities. Both events feature excited and loyal constituents, and there is a palpable sense of electricity in the air.
