Strang Line documentary debuts this month

A new PBS documentary could raise awareness about Overland Park history and raise money for a proposed museum. The Overland Park Historical Society will host a premiere presentation of the half-hour production, called “Rails to Suburbia.” Proceeds from that Oct. 19 presentation at the Rio Theatre will go toward establishing a historical museum in the city’s downtown area, said society president F.W. Wagner.
