St. Joseph Symphony preview by Shea Conner

It is said that familiarity breeds contempt. So even though the Saint Joseph Symphony’s upcoming concert will feature a few widely familiar pieces, musical director Rico McNeela says it’s imperative that the orchestra plays compositions that aren’t so ordinary. The classical music of few countries walk that line between the accustomed and the unique as exceptionally as the French.
