Topeka native Sherie Rene Scott nominated for Tony

Sherie is nominated for a Tony Award for Best Actress in a Broadway Musical for "Everyday Rapture," her largely autobiographical show about her joys and heartaches growing up in Topeka. Sherie will sing a song from "Rapture" early in the nationally televised Tony Awards.
