KC Rep seeks Projection Technician

Kansas City Repertory Theatre in Kansas City, Missouri seeks projection technician for 2010-2011 season. Applicants should have 1 year professional theatre experience with Video projection operation. Detailed knowledge of projector set up, rigging, cabling, media server set up, system maintenance and troubleshooting required. Experience with Watchout and Green Hippo desired. Candidate must have excellent computer and communication skills. Ability to work at heights, good night vision and hearing, and ability to lift 65 lbs required. Responsibilities include assisting projection designer, gear load in and set up, operation of projection equipment during all KC Rep show and special events. Position is part of electrics department and will serve as an electrician on shows without projections. Starts August 23, 2010 expected through May 1, 2011.
