Lonnie McFadden "Monarchs of KC" interview by Robert Trussell
Theatre for Young America has brought back “The Monarchs of KC,” a play that recalls the glory days of the baseball team as well as the Negro Leagues. The play about the Kansas City Monarchs was written by TYA co-founder Gene Mackey, with music by Danny Cox, who also performs in the piece.
