My first experiment shooting in a 9:16 aspect ratio. I know a lot of people hate it or think it's the sign of an amateur, but I think it has it's place and can be cool.
I work in a casino which has 9 projectors around the gaming floor all setup at 90 degrees, showing various moving images shot in 9:16 aspect ratio outputting at 90 degrees. This gives us 9 screens shown in the 9:16 aspect ratio, but causes us loads of problems when trying to output any maintstream video/TV broadcast formats such as the upcoming England v USA game. As this is a little used aspect ratio, our video screens are becoming little more than a gimmick with very little real world usage.
