Janet Cohen "Anne & Emmett" interview by Rick Hellman

Janet Langhart Cohen had long identified with both Anne Frank and Emmett Till, the Jewish and African-American youths, respectively, whose lives were cut short by 20th-century hatred. She had even written the work on which the play “Anne & Emmett” is based before she learned just how deeply her identification with the two martyred youths went.
