"Miss Witherspoon" review by Jeannine Chatterton-Papineau
Artistic director Cynthia Levin introduced the audience to Christopher Durang's dark, dark comedy Miss Witherspoon, now onstage at the Unicorn Theatre, and concluded by laughing and saying, "You're in for a wild ride." What followed was 90 minutes of laughter for the audience and angst for our leading lady Veronica, who was later nicknamed "Miss Witherspoon."
