The Kansas City Chorale received a round of applause before they
even took the dais of St. Michael the Archangel Church on Saturday
night. It was the recent recipient of the Grammy Award for best choral
recording for their album “Life and Breath: Choral Works by René
Clausen” and the attitude in the sanctuary was joyful, attentive and
awed. The trophy was prominently displayed throughout the concert.
