Fundraiser to restore the Jayhawk Theatre in Topeka
Historic Jayhawk Theatre Inc. board members are asking people to "take a seat" to help raise $8.7 million for the restoration of the Jayhawk State Theatre of Kansas, a 1926 vaudeville palace in downtown Topeka that's listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
