The Odyssey Chamber Music Series begins its ninth season tonight, with a concert featuring French songs, sonatas both modern and canonical, and the intensely emotional work of Arnold Schoenberg. A story in Sunday's Ovation touched on the tenor of the performance and the ideas that were in play as it was programmed. Another delightful aspect of tonight's program is the return of Chad Payton.
