The Citizen Jane Film Festival distinguishes itself from other film festivals — and not just because its purpose is to celebrate women filmmakers. Creating a forum for the diverse work of women from around the world opens the doors to explore a wide range of genres. There is literally something for everyone available during the event, from a free screening of a family film — this year, a retrospective showing of "The Secret Garden" — to the edgier, more challenging end of the spectrum.
