Young actors perform in "Mockingbird", "Annie"

Spunky youngsters dominate the stage this month in local productions of "Annie" and "To Kill a Mockingbird." It is appropriate that these classics will be presented at roughly the same time — both quintessentially American tales take place in the mid-1930s and center on pivotal moments in the lives of young girls and the loyal friends of all ages who surround them.
