Camelot
River City Community Players

Camelot is one of the best productions I've seen performed by RCCP. The set, casting, costumes and the flow of the scenes being so smooth, I forgot everything around me and was completely taken in with the drama. The backstage crew must have been on their game to produce that flow.

All the characters played their roles in great fashion. Arthur, Jeff Adams, did stand out as he embraced his character with passion. The emotion he projected lasted long after the last scene was over as was seen in the teary eyed audience. Mordred, Spencer Williams, also was over the top as his character demanded and pulled off the job of making the audience hate him as he goaded Arthur. Guenevere, Sarah DaMetz, was so beautiful in her role and hit the high notes in her songs like a total pro. She took her time and never seemed to hurry through the scenes which made her performance all the better. Lancelot, Coby Anderaon, carried himself well as the handsome, French suitor. He has a great tone to his voice and sang beautifully even with the accent.

I enjoyed seeing the play twice and hope to again before it closes.
