Playwright Amanda Newman interview by Jill Renae Hicks

Using a small gem of a concept about a "lost slipper," University of Missouri playwriting student Amanda Newman will take that story to the big leagues in a little more than a week. The senior, a double major in English and in communication science and speech disorders, has been selected as a finalist for the John Cauble Award for Outstanding Short Play in conjunction with the nationally established Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival.
