Hendrix has been gone for almost 40 years, but his influence on rock music and the electric guitar endures through subsequent generations of guitar players. Tuesday night, a large roster of guitarists will convene at the Uptown Theater as part of “Experience Hendrix,” a tribute to Hendrix and his short career.
