Chrisopher McLauren plays the Mahler box and hammer


Mahler's Sixth Symphony is best known for the "hammer blows" in the fourth movement using a percussion instrument called a Mahler Box. Principal Percussionist Christopher McLauren shows the Kansas City Symphony's Mahler Box and Hammer that will be used for the upcoming performance of Mahler's Sixth in Helzberg Hall on January 11-13, 2013.
