The Arts Council of Metropolitan Kansas City announced they received $40,000 from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) and $70,000 from local foundations for the Catalyst category of the ArtsKC Fund. This provides an additional $110,000 in funding for the small and midsized arts groups and arts programming eligible to apply for 2012 ArtsKC Catalyst grants.
