Missouri Contemporary Ballet preview by Jill Renae Hicks

After opening the School of Missouri Contemporary Ballet this fall, the MCB professional company is poised to present an original concert, “EVOKE.” The name encompasses the gamut of emotion and intensity present in both the musicality and choreography of the concert’s six works. Four of the pieces are new original works, said MCB founder Karen Mareck Grundy.
