Preview of KC Symphony's Ravel, Barber, Mahler concert
Many of us over a certain age understand the concept of yearning for the people and places that aren’t around anymore, and the rightness of honoring them in music, too.The Kansas City Symphony will explore this territory Friday and Saturday with a program of music by Maurice Ravel, Samuel Barber and Gustav Mahler.
