Branit FX has been very successful in adding new business. In addition to doing visual effects projects for Fox’s Fringe, they are now doing effects for NBC’s The Cape, NBC’s Outsourced, and CBS’s Hawaii 5-0.
Road Eats is a Discovery Channel program focusing on interesting restaurants. A crew was in St. Louis recently shooting at Luvy Duvy’s Cafe. This segment is scheduled to run this summer.
Exposure, Inc. is working with Boxcar Films and Snoot Entertainment on a SAG-modified low budget movie. The feature shoots in March and April in Columbia.

A crew was busy around KC shooting Sprint web advertisements. They used KCI, a cafe, a law office, and retail space for locations. Heather Laird, Wright/Laird Casting, and Rick Cowan worked on this project.
Another video destined for the web was shot in KC with the help of Heather Laird. Clients were VML Advertising and Level 3.
Cypress Moon Studios held auditions in Joplin for a movie to be shot in April. For information, contact Kenny Davis at kenny@cypressmoonproduction.com. The feature is titled The Story of Bonnie and Clyde.
Work on a Guthrie Cancer Center project was completed by Prairie Dog/TCG Healthcare Marketing and T2+Back Alley Films of KC. Another project they finished was for Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka.
