The second meeting of the Advocacy Council facilitated by the Arts Council of Metropolitan Kansas City
will take place Wednesday, January 6, at the American Jazz Museum from 12:00 to 1:30pm. Guest speakers will be Mike Burke with King Hershey, PC, who recently announced his intention to run for Mayor of KC, MO; and Annabeth Surbaugh, Chairman of the Board for the Board of County Commissioners - Johnson County. Chairman Surbaugh will be running for reelection. A more detailed agenda will follow next week. This invitation is being extended to all arts organizations, arts councils, and individual artists in the metropolitan area, please plan to join us.
