Regardless of your devotion in the Border War, you will enjoy The Last Jayhawker. The fictional history short tells the tale of James Naismith using basketball and machetes to exact revenge on William Quantrill for terrorizing Lawrence during the Civil War. It's hilarious. It's brilliant. It has surprisingly high production values. Somebody really needs to add, "I'm going to teach you how to do two things: play basketball and kill dirty Missourians," to Naismith's Wikipedia entry.
