- Andrew Droz Palermo, David Wilson, and others shot footage in the Columbia area for a television commercial advertising the True/False International Film Festival.
- The Pony Express celebrates its 150-year anniversary in 2011. A California-based production company has spent seven months in St. Joseph producing a documentary entitled 1861:The Spirit of the Pony Express. The feature is scheduled to be released this year. - Banfield Pet Clinics used local crew when they contracted for print ads shot in KC. Bernstein-Rein was the advertising agency.
- Siva Addiction, www.siva-addiction.com, was looking for extras to be in their music video. The location was Merriam.
