Phil van Hest, or Phil the Void, of Motherbanking Bankholes, is a very amusing and observant performer.
It's obvious that he's confident and seems to have found his voice on stage. He's very funny, both extemporaneously and when scripted, and if he returns to the area I will definitely go and see him again.
Motherbanking Bankholes was at its funniest at the very beginning and throughout the first half. The overall thrust of his message did seem to dissolve a little towards the end, and I wasn't totally sure what his statement was. We were laughing all the way there anyway, and so was everyone else. The audience ranged from 13 year olds to 60 year olds.
