Chiara String Quartet interview with the Lied Center

The Chiara String Quartet makes its much-anticipated return to the Lied Center stage. The ensemble is known for performing contemporary classical music and the masterworks of string quartet repertoire in established concert venues as well as non-traditional locations including bars and art galleries, shattering the established boundaries of the concert music setting. Among other works, Chiara will perform Gabriela Lena Frank's Milagros (Miracles), inspired by the composer's mother's homeland.

Stephen Wallace Pruitt's "Works in Progress" now on DVD

After screening at the 2010 Kansas City FilmFest, the local feature Works In Progress went on to play at nine different film festivals around the country, including San Antonio, Memphis, and the Heartland Film Festival in Indianapolis. It is now distrubuted by Vanguard Cinema and widely available for purchase—the filmmakers recommend Amazon.
