The Film Commission of Greater Kansas City is pleased to announce the winners of the 2012 Robert Altman Emerging Filmmakers Fund Education Grants. The fund’s inaugural grants offer admission to the FastTrac NewVenture program. Seats for the program are endowed by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, which will cover the $500 program fee for all 10 local grant recipients to participate in five full-day classes on consecutive Fridays from July 13 to Aug. 10 at the University of Missouri-Kansas City Small Business & Technology Development Center, 4747 Troost Ave.
